Bani saaed shed (Saqifat bani Saaed)

This shed is located on the north western side of the Prophet's Mosque. It is a canopy that was built by Ibn Ka'b ibn al-Khazraj from Al-Ansar and was sitting under it in a well of goods. It was built in the form of a rectangle with walls in its three sides. The fourth was open and the shed was inside a farm, Where the Bani Bani tribe lived within the neighboring gardens. It was a large building built so that a large number of supporters gathered in front of it. It was narrated in the hadeeth of Saheeh al-Bukhaari and Muslim that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to go with some of his companions to the houses of the sons of Sa'id and sat in it. Sahel ibn Sa'ad (may Allaah be pleased with him) said to him with a mug and then he gave it to him. . This shed was famous for its great historical event, which is the allegiance of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq to the succession after the death of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
