Mosque of Answer (AlEjabah) (Masjid Bani Mu'awiyah)

It is located in the neighborhood of Bani Mu'awiya ibn Malik ibn 'Awf ibn al-Aws from al-Ansar. The mosque is located on the north-eastern side of the Prophet's Mosque, 580 meters away. It has been proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed in this mosque and he was called the Mosque of Bani Mu'awiyah, then he was called the mosque of the answer. Imam Muslim narrated in his Saheeh from the hadeeth of 'Amer ibn Saad on the authority of his father: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) accepted the day of the high, even if he passed through the Mosque of Bani Mu'awiyah. He entered two kneels and prayed with him. (Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "I asked my Lord three times and he gave me two, and one of them prevented me. I asked my Lord that my Ummah should not perish with the Sunnah, so I gave it to her and asked him not to destroy my Ummah by drowning. It was narrated that 'Abd-Allaah ibn' Abd-Allaah ibn Jabir ibn 'Ateek said that he said:' Abd-Allaah ibn 'Umar came to us in Bani Mu'awiyah, a village from Anasar. He said: Do you know where the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came from your mosque? I said to him: Yes, and I pointed to him on the part of him, he said: Do you know what the three that called them in it? I said: Yes. He said: Then he told me about them.
